Our Story
Common Ground Farms is a family-led restoration project rooted in agriculture, community, and the belief that beautiful things happen when people come together.
Originally built in 1991 as a polo clubhouse, our red barn was once the heart of a thriving equestrian property. Riders gathered here after long days on the field, guests lingered over conversation, and the land held space for connection in its own quiet way.
Decades later, that purpose still feels the same.
Today, we’re restoring the barn, reviving the farmland, and thoughtfully shaping Common Ground Farms into a place for weddings, markets, workshops, creative projects, wellness experiences, corporate gatherings, and the kinds of moments people remember for years.
Hi, we’re Craig & Emma
We’re both born and raised in Surrey, high school sweethearts, entrepreneurs, and people who genuinely love bringing others together.
Craig’s world has always been rooted in farming and agriculture. Emma’s has always lived in creativity, storytelling, and community. Somehow, this property became the place where all of those pieces met.
Common Ground Farms is our way of honouring the land’s history while creating something new for the next generation of gatherings.
